About Margazhi dew drops Kolam contest - 2008-2009 : PRINT
This kolam is drawn with rice flour with 19-10 dots (Oodu pulli). On top of that colour powders are used.
Just a small description about umbrella:
Umbrella means (shade) "a screen used in hot to keep off the sun, and in others to bear off the rain; "a kind of broad fan or screen, commonly used by women to shelter them from rain; also a wooden frame, covered with cloth, to keep off the sun from a window."
Its mainly used in all god utsavams to take ustasavars. So the umbrella has many possible uses.

One more possible use for the umbrella - if somebody threatens,
You must ask Mary Poppins
one can beat the person with it
for other uses! I like this concept quite a bit. All the
goodies of the summer are available there (even though it is
snowing here)! The centrally placed sun is quite nice. You
could have used the colours in a symmetric fashion. That
distorts the over-all beauty (yes, it is very beautiful) of
