About Freehand white kolam : PRINT
after seeing Rani's round round thick lined kolams I tried this, but I could not succeed in drawing thick /bold lines ( my be I am still kanjoos in using kolapodi liberally). Maroon kaavi not available, hence used my usual blood red kaavi to frighten you all.

Rajamma maam I thought U painted the kolam using MS paint for the "bloody effect"... your kolam looks so nice and neat as usual

Nice grand rangoli rajamma ji.. Red border looks different still b'ful.. Small designs around the border is cute.. In one place, left side red border slightly gone here n there...

Well done chithi. I like the basket weaving and the outer border designs. Somehow I feel this red colour doesn't go well with the kolam. Romba avasaramaa pottadha?

I liked the center part best of all. Very pretty and eye-catching. But maybe you should not have used the bright red....it takes away from the beauty of the otherwise wonderfully imagined lines.
Wish I could do half as well as you.....

Kanjoos people know how to get the maximum benefit out of minimal resources.
I think this kolam looks more beautiful in red with white. That 's just my thought.

A lovely lacey design from you Rajam - beautifully spaced out and filled very neatly. The red is a bit distracting though it is attractive..
