Oh! This is the real fun we have with children!
Again I remember how eldersbless youngsters to have children_ நீ இட்ட பொட்டழிய , நீ போட்ட கோலம்
கலைய......which children do at once!

Wow Indira - your kolam is so very neat and pretty - and your son playing havoc on it is even prettier. This reminds me of a family I know who lives in Arcot. There was this little boy called Revanth who was always upto lots of mischief. One pongal day both mother and father spent more than 4 hours to make a huge colour kolam in front of their house and it came out so beautifully. No sooner had they given the final touches this little rascal brought the water pipe and washed the entire kolam out. His mother literally had tears in her eyes seeing her lovely creation dissolve but eventually he got a shelling from his father

Very nice. Second kolam is also very beautiful.
Judy, even I get tears when somebody does like this, Once it had happen on "Ayudha Pooja " day. I had drew a big Kolam in front of my house. it has come out very good. Myself was looking at the kolam and apprerciating that kolam. But just 5 minutes later - my sister-in-law's son (college student) was washing his vehicle with the tap near by with the help of a pipe. some how the the pipe came out of the tap, and as the motor was pumping water to overtank, for the force the water with the pressure neatly washed away the centre portion of the kolam. I felt so bad and my eyes filled with tears. But I couldn't speak out anything. later I drew one more kolam for the festival. Judy and Indira thanks for taking me 5-6 years back.

Both are beautiful. Couldn't stop my laughter after seeing your son's kolam. He reminds me of my cousin's kids who were always ready to try their best in my kolam. At one point someone was needed to escort my kolam..
