Nice kolam Rani and Chandhini (nice name). I think there are so many colours to distract the beauty of the kolam. Of course, it depends upon one's choice. Convey my wishes to Chandhini.

thanks a lot jkm sir latha and rajamma mam...latha i don't know may be i had used all cols available at that moment...shd have used just 4-5 cols ...i think...but as there was so many dishes to be prepared on that day i had to finish off d kolam within 20 mins thats why in a hurry couldn't concentrate on cols...rajamma mam chandhini was excited by yr words... she is still smiling to herself while reading(sem exams)...

Hey Rani - Chandini has done an excellent job - very colourful and neatly done. Sometimes it is good not to worry about colour symmetry atleast in this case :)
