What a lovely treat you had given to all of the members! Each one is special in its own way. The circular freehand kolam reminds me of chinese dragon decorations. Expressive eyes. Nice way of writing the letters too.
I have a question regarding the leaf-shaped dotted kolam. I have it in my book, but in two versions (both look the same to me), with two different dot counts. At the moment, I don't have the patience to figure out the dot count by counting, so I'm posting the link to the page with the dot details, and I would like you to confirm the dot count. Please, if and when possible, also upload the dotted kolam separately, since this one happens to be one of the rare ones that people have tried, in this site.

Lata in this link, as you say, both are same as I find a same small mistake in both ar right hand side!
This is a very easy one and one of my favorites too. My children insist that I draw this for 'vinayaka chathurthi' as they call it 'kozhukkattai-tiffin box' kolam!

Kozhukattai tiffen box kolam! What a nice name! Well then, that's what my family will call this from today onwards. Please do tell us about the other names your kids had given to some of your other works too; gets etched in our memory. :0

Jaya , late aaga vandhaalum latest aaga vandhirukkaye! The top right one is super... Lakshmi would have admired it more no?The more (mayil) design is good but the head and body are not proportinate in size. The padikolam with new star design is nice. The last one is all our favourite. I donot put this kolam because it is three ezhaikolam, You have wisely put kaavi ezhai in between to make it 5 ezhai and attractive.

Jaya I missed seeing the first kolam - where was it drawn?? All the kolams were excellent. Seeing so much of space in your house and very little submissions from you I must start a protest here. Please shake that lazy feeling from your bones and use all the space you have to give us more of these lovely kolams - come on Jaya - you can do it !! Atleast after you return from visiting your loved ones abroad

At last I remembered and also got time to see the look alike 'modak' kolam, but of course a bigger version of my kolam. It is very nice. I had only the smaller version in my old collection of kolams.
In fact all the kolams displayed here are good, especially the circular one is excellent.
