This is a very beautiful work. Look at the four-fold symmetry and how the lines go up and down. I like everything in this except the background. One more to try with strings. Regards! - mOhana

Thanks all for your comments. Jayanthi and Vinci, I would like to try this simple design in padi/maa kolam too. I don't think it would take me as long as I took to make this in a 3D program. :) Mohanaji, I've reused the background from the drum rangolis. In terms of the time at hand, my choices were either to make a dotted Clover kolam, or make a different background for the celtic one, and I ended up going for the first option.
