Wow... This looks great. The colours and the squares are perfect, and so is the way they've been intertwined. Lovely!

So ikolam does bring out the best from everyone.. Here I see Naveena has done something exclusively for ikolam which is 100% breathtaking. The colours used are perfect and compliments each other. I like the way you have put that black line in the green, red line in the yellow and purple line in the pink. Perfect.. Looks like an interlaced ribbon rug to me - so we can see a demo from you too at the meet I am sure - think of something special for us :)

Very beautifully done, no doubt. Congratulations for the great effort! I like the care with which the up and down motion is carried out. This is an exercise for everybody as how to colour without losing sight of the symmetry. Regards! - mOhana

Takes the breath away at first sight. Neat design, bold coloring, and neatly executed. I wish you could've participated during one of our contests. Maybe next year. Sumathi, any more cousins to introduce? :)

Thanks lata for publishing the kolam.

Thanks, thanks each one of u for taking ur time and appreciating this effort. Ur appreciations are definitely doing wonders, its motivating me to do even better.

My mom does very beautiful kolams, I always wanted to do beautiful kolams like hers. Now, reading all ur comments i am confident that my dreams would come true soon. I am so charged up and ready to give a better shot next time.

Sumathi Aunty, it’s very difficult to hide from him (Parth, my son) and take time for my hobbies. Especially he loves messing up my kolams. In fact, I have captured a video of how he smashed and blew apart this kolam.

Judy, u have given me a huge task...
