This reminds me of the stained glass windows I saw in Jaipur palace. Looks like stained glass fit for a Maharaja's palace. Wow this is bright and extremely beautiful - Lakshmi and Subashini both of you are absolutely correct. You too have magic in your fingers Rajam - Sudha you will definitely have lots of fun with her around at your meet (miss you here dear Rajam)..

Grand kolam,no no no I should call it woollen mat work
The colors are exotic
The idea is fantastic
The mat looks naturalistic
And your work is artistic

Rajammaji, lakshmi you left the 2 couples in the centre. see how beautiful decorated lamps ( assume it as 2 couples). I think she was giving a hint for so many kolams as she was doing some make ups for the brides (recent Kolams comments, can you remember lakshmi) ,so for this sake she has drawn this beautiful kalyana mandapam is it not maam ????????????. really very very nice k.m kolam.

The pinwheel motifs look beautiful. The orange and the majenta are the darkest of the colors I've seen recently. You were right about the windows, they look so special.
