Margazhi rangoli
About Margazhi rangoli : PRINT
This is a pomegranate design (maadhulam koththu) rangoli. It has 9, 8, 7, 6, 5 dot pattern with the sides having 2, 3, 2, 1 dot pattern. I have used rice flour and rangoli color powders. It took me nearly 3 hours to get this ready.

Welcome to ikolam Ms.Shanthamami!
I am not sure how I missed your first kolam, that was posted some days ago http://www.ikolam.com/node/10812.
I'm glad I caught up with it today. I see that you are really fond of the blue structures, because you've used it in both of your rangolis. The rangoli is beautiful, and so is the name. Thank you for sharing your work here with us, and for providing all the details about this kolam.

Shanthamami, a bright colorful rangoli, neatly drawn and colored well.. The brown floor and the white border add the beauty.we call it Parangipoo/ or Paagalkai kolam. This same design was my first rangoli also. I think most of us would have put this atleast once.rajamma

Beautiful and neat. As Lata said I think Shantha You are very fond of the blue structures and the outside circle designs. Is it your brand design for all the rangoli's.
