Beautifully colored and good looking strokes. How did you manage to get wavy double strokes? It is not hard to draw to wavy double strokes using rice paste, but this one is made of dry powder. Have you used some tool like an earbud to draw inbetween the white strokes, to get double strokes? Nice arrangent in the center on the plate. Do the letters say - "Happy Navrathri/Saraswati puja"?

A replica of the kolam I just saw done by Rama - infact almost the same colours used too - I think she has used her finger to do those wavy lines in the middle of each stroke Lata

Padma avare nimma rangavalli bahala chennagide..(ur rangoli is very nice)double strokes gives rich look to this.

Beautiful colorful roses very neatly drawn .. probably dark shade of red/merune could have been used as one of the colour..
