Just wondering! On the average there are 20 to 30 comments for each rangOli in the contest. That means there are nearly one thousand (plus or minus 100) comments in all on the submitted entries. If each person is thanked individually by the entrants there will be one thousand more comments. I always wonder whether thanking for the comments made is necessary at all

sudhA ma'am, Sorry if I said anything wrong. What I meant was - our "active" ikOlam community is quite small. We know each other reasonably well. The comments are always made in a friendly and sometime jest manner to enable the artists to improve their trade. Under these conditions, I thought formal "thank yous" are unnecessary. At least that is what I think. I thought unless there is anything extra, just saying thank you, that too individually, clutters the forum. Of course, individuals have their ways and may follow what their hearts and minds direct them.
