Welcome to ikolam Ms.Mangala! :) Your first entry here is nice, and homely. Thank you for mentioning the dot count. And, I plan on showcasing this for another section, here at ikolam : http://www.ikolam.com/patterns/simple-to-complex-patterns I'd take one/fourth of this kolam to be shown as a 6x6 kolam, that could be used to make a bigger kolam (12x12), like you had done here.

Umbrellas?? or Ladoos?? why do we always see food??? hehe must be a bit hungry now that it is lunch time for me :P Mangala very nice way of arranging a small kolam in a group - looks like soldiers getting ready for a march-past :)
