Firstly happy Diwali. i-kolam has made my Diwali even more special because I did 3 kolams for the i-kolam contest as well as i-kolam friends.
Done this for Diwali 2013. Two of the three kolams I had done.
(Not sure if i had uploaded my diwali kolam photos as per procedure. hence uploading once again. Admin, please delete if double entry of the same.)
Did three types
1) Alpana
Observe both small deepams and large deepams.
2) Crystal salt rangoli
Done using Kola podi (White portion), color powder, crystal salt. Lakshmi padams (Goddess entering my house), rocket, flower pot, mango leaves, aakashkandils (Lanterns). Holistic design for deepavali.
3) Pookolam
Will be uploading the pookolam separately (as this will not be for the contest).

Thank you all. I am overwhelmed with emotion. Your words of encouragement mean a lot to me. My minuscule effort is no match to the wonderful creations submitted for the contest but I derived a lot of satisfaction doing the kolams and submitting them. Thanks again i-kolam.
