Onam rangoli

Hi Sheran, Your comment made me chuckle for quite some time...just imagine working with Chaani to make a beautiful pentagon shaped raised mound to mount your petals for a rangoli :) --that would require an unimaginable amount of patience and willpower to stand the smell of cow dung!! For the non-tamilians, chaani is cow dung which is mixed in with water to sprinkle over the wet-ground before making a kolam in villages. Nowadays, the practice of using cow dung hardly exists in towns and cities. I can't wait to hear what Anu has to say about how she made this :)
