I don't check the member profiles frequently to keep track. :tired: Congratulations on your long and creative journey here at ikolam, and may the journey continue forever! :love: I have such strong memories of those days when you kept sending many images via emails often, and I use to acknowledge, extract files, crop, and even had the pleasure of naming some of your rangolis! I am proud of all of your beautiful and grand lacy designs. Things have been so much simplified now and we have come a long long way! :bigsmile: I feel overwhelmed by ikolam, most days. So much emotional investment every which way! :tired: :D I have more to say/write, but most days I turn into a zombie at 12:30am, and wake up with racoon eyes the next day. And the journey continues... :beer:

Congratulations Lakshmi! I am falling short of words. Your kolams are so alluring that I started gaping at your kolams since 2008 (when I chanced upon this website). From then on I am hooked to this website. I used to copy your kolams for every festival and attempt them. I was working in those days so there was no leisure time to do them daily. Now that I have quit my job due to health reasons, I am pursuing my passion ie., putting kolams. So you are the primary cause for me to start putting kolams. Thank you Lakshmi. I still remember the day when I entered ikolam in Nov 2008 and staring at your gallery with admiration. When I commented that I wanted to see you drawing big kolams standing behind you with a big bucket full of kolam powder, you immediately invited me to your house and I came straght to chennai and met you and your family. the ikolam meets fallowed and we bacame close.
Hello, new members , Lakshmi is not only an expert in kolam drawing she is a fantastic host. She and her family ( son Pavan and husband Mr.Raghu) involve in her work take photos, upload and give warm treatment to all the visitors. I can write pages and pagesabout their hospitality. :)
