This is a usual design. I've made it with some extra ideas had in my mind

Switch on the stove, place a thick bottom vessel. Put jaggery with 1/2 cup of water to dissolve and a pinch of salt. Once dissolves, strain in a strainer to remove the dirt/sand particles. Now fry rava using all the ghee and keep it aside. Mash the boiled channa dal using a woodden spatula or with hand (donot use mixer)
