About Navarathri Rangoli -2012 : PRINT
Hi Friends,
Every year during Kolu,we used to draw Rangoli ( of any God/Godess) & this year ,the kolam was Balambika in a sitting posture on a Lotus.
The outline was drawn first & we selected the colors & decorated Ambal with Jewels & Glittering Stones-right from Nethi Chudi to Kolusu was appropriately chosen.It took close to 8 hours to complete the Kolam.PL share your thoughts.

Very Divine rangoli - with such expressive eyes, glittering ear studs, beautiful gold chain, nethi chutti, payal. The sari folds are distinctly seen. The blouse has been designed very beautifully. Her chathur bhujam, the sitting posture. I can go on and on.
You have decorated her with so much love, bhakti and devotion.

Wonderful creation of Goddess "Balambika".When I saw this at first it was looking very familiar. Recently a close friend gave me a picture of 'Nemili Sree Bala'and it was so devine that I kept it in my pooja and admiring it daily.
Saranya, now I realised that you are also a devottee of Balambika and brought her in your Navrathri golu in the form of a beautiful rangoli. Splendid work indeed.The drawings, colouring and the decorations are super.You have done a real pooja for 8 hours with dedication. Thanks for sharing this with us.
