Oh my god....what a pleasant surprise lata....so so happy to see ur rangoli dear...superb colourful rangoli with an awesome stencil design....is this done at ur place(sanjose)...ayyo i have so many questions....my coffee is aarifying let me come back after one sec...hehe
Thank you Suba ma'am and Rani.
Yes, this was done on our front entrance. That's how much space I have on the cement floor. If I want to do something bigger, I'll have to do that on my driveway (and park on roadway). What get's harder is the fact that we don't have the day off for Diwali. Aarushi was visiting us during the weekend, and we all wrapped up the celebration around 7am today (she had an 8:00am class this morning and had to leave in a hurry). Soon after she left, the other two kids also changed from their new indian clothes, got ready for school and left. Hope I've answered most of your questions Rani. Let me know what else you'd like to know and I'll be happy to answer. Oh yes, and we got up around 4 am, oil bath, patasu (mathapu), quick puja, idly breakfast (with home made suzhiyan this morning, rasgolla, cashew nut burfi, thattai, and murukku all made during last two days). That's all. Like I said, started at 4 am and finished all by 7 am. After 7am, I spent some time feeling sorry for myself for not being in India to enjoy the sights and sounds, called Chennai, spoke to my mom and brother, felt a bit better and started reading my newspaper. Felt better after that.
