The Marapachis are about 20" height. The theme this year is Meenakshi Kalyanam. The Marapachis are hand decorate by me. Meenakshi and Sundareshwarar in Kalyana Kolam (Wedding attire) and Perumal giving away Meenakshi. The extra hands are made of clay. The crowns,Meenakshi's Jimkis are made of Clay base and stones are glued on top of it. The entire alangaram, clothing is made of stones. I have used some gold color foam as well for jewels.Meenakshi's hair is made of black stones.

Congrats Janaki. well deserved win. I can imagine the time and energy spent in creating this " Meenakshi Kalyaanam". All your handmade decorations are artistically done and your explanations are very clear. I liked the golu as well as the Marappachi decor.( Has Kannan helped you in this?)
