I had made this as a Margazhi kolam a few years ago. It is a cross between a Kolam and a rangoli. I called it Rangolam

WOW!! fusion rangoli/kolam...looks very beautiful...fusion NAME also...i like the name..(Rangolam).Lata it come up very well...hmm i will try this also shortly....nice colour ..

Good Lata, it looks like the embroidery work called "Sindhi stitch".The name sounds all the more intresting.

Sindhi stitch? I haven't come across it Sumathi. I don't know the different names in Embroidery (apart from some very basic stitches).

Kolam romba azhagu, adhukku vechcha peyaro romba romba azhagu.Sumathi, I think the stiching done on a fabric will be looking fabulous.
Lata, nice treasure hunt, want more like this.
