ATTA PEAS TANGY SUNDAL :
INGREDIENTS :
White Peas 200 gms
Atta 1 cup
Chillie powder ¼ spoon
Raw mangoes 5 spoons (finely chopped)
Coconut grated 3 spoons
Coriander leaves 3 spoons (finely chopped)
Lemon ½ lemon
For Seasoning : coconut oil 1 spoon, mustard seeds 1/2 spoon
Asafoedita powder ¼ spoon,chopped curry leaves 1 spoon.
Preparation :
Soak peas overnight. Boil them and add little salt.Knead the atta dough with little salt, chillie powder, asafoedita powder and make tiny balls. Pressure cook them for 7 to 8 minutes. Heat Coconut oil in a kadai. Add mustard seeds to splutter and then add asafoedita powder and curry leaves. Add the pressure cooked atta balls and sauté for a minute.add the coarsely ground powder, boiled peas,finely chopped Raw mangoes, grated coconut and mix well. Add salt to taste squeeze the half lemon. Mix well. Sprinkle coriander leaves and serve hot. Healthy. tasty sundal ready to be served.Serves 4.
