About HAPPY INDEPENDANCE DAY (Photoshop Kolam) : PRINT
I wanted to put this kolam this morning in front of my house but since it was raining I could not do so.... I did not want to let this opportunity go by so I sat on the computer and completed this kolam in 15 minutes... I know the proportion between the colours on the flag are not even but I did not want to delay in perfecting this kolam before uploading this today or else it would be too late and the essence would be lost... So please excuse this...

JUdy, is this your own deign? very nice and the spikes are also very perfect. Now you are an expert in Photoshop. I also want to learn to make. Let us see whether i can. As you said we should be proud for being an Indian and should not waste this treasure.

Nicely done, in the spirit of the day.
The white central patch could have been of the same width sa the other two. The bend in the line connecting it to the centre of the flag makes it awkward. Instead, it could have been extended giving a longer pole for the flag. By the way, when are you all considering my request for a beautiful aSOka chakra?

While the number of languages, number of religions and ethnic groups and festivities associated with these are certainly a matter of genuine pride, to me at least, the number of castes is a matter of no pride. Honestly I believe half the evils of India will vanish if the number of castes becomes zero. Again, this is my personal opinion; no offence meant.

JKM, yes that's what I mentioned, I completed this in 15 minutes because I wanted to load it same day so could not concentrate on the proportion too much..
