Snehaji, how about using the darker "B" pencils? I remember using those 2B or even higher # pencils especially for outlining. Please give it a try, and upload one too.
The higher the number is, the softer the lead is. One can also try to use the black colour among the colour pencils. They are quite soft and write strikingly.
I am sorry, I messed up. May be still sleepy though woke up at 3:30 (of course latAjI does not sleep at all :-). The higher the H number is, the harder the pencil is. We have the HB pencil (hard and black) like the 2H here. The higher the B number is, the softer the pencil is and the blacker it is.
You are right mOhanaji, I see the 2H here everywhere, and that is why I miss 2B even more.
Even the (Indian) pink flowered Camlin pencils work darker than the 2H we get here.
Nowadays I don't have to give any early morning rides to anyone in our house due to summer vacation, so mom is not needed anymore in the mornings.
