Golu 2011 (1)

Hi all

This golu arrangment is done by me and my mom at my mother's house..There are 3 steps

1st step - Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswati and Ashtha Lakshmi idols,
2nd step - Ranganathar, Balaji and thayar, Oppilliappan, Vinayagar, Ramar Lakshmar Sita, Krishna in different forms
3rd step - Dolls decorated as Lord Balaji and thayar, Andal, Bride and Bridegroom, Lord Krishna and Radha, Raja and Rani, Small wooden vessels, small dining table set
Left stool - Baby Krishna
Right stool - Circus set in paper

Embrodiery on the last step done by my late grandmother more than 30 years back..

Hello all , I have attached our golu snaps :) 1st Step- Saraswathi, Annapoorani, Lakshmi along with Astalakshmi 2nd Step - Guhan with Ramar & Ramar Pattabishekam 3rd Step - dasa-avatharam 4th Step - Krishna Leela / Guruvayurappan /Meenakshi 5th Step - Jodi sets gifted for our wedding Other than that , We had a seperate collections of Lord Krishna in side of our regular Padi .

A different looking golu from all the normal ones. small and compact. Thanks for your explanation so it made my job easy to understand the golu. Would like to have a close view of the circus set. All the best for the contest.

Wonderful Golu arrangement. The dolls in the last step - were dolls decorated by you? Looks so cute. i would love to have a closer view of the circus set. The embroidery design looks so lovely. Your grand mother has passed away, but her artistic work remains in existence.

I just love my grandma's embrodiery work and it is always a part of my mom's golu..I am trying to include a pic of the circus seperately

Very nice. Did you decorate/dress the bride and groom dolls? The Krishna doll looks different and very beautiful!
