Sowmi, heartiest wishes for the first Golu. I liked the majestic Ganapathi sitting on the first step (in Golden colour), so chubby Ganesha. Very nicely dressed up Marapaachi dolls. Was that done by you?
Very nicely arranged Golu. All the best and keep it up.

Thank you Maha. This is an instant golu (you can name it) as nothing was planned by me in advance.Just took two days for planning. that golden Ganapathi is some 15 years old idol which has travelled along with me from place to place. Marapachi(red) decor was done by me and the other set is about 40-50 years old and it still has the dress made by my grandma.

Congratulations on getting a head start on this tradition Sowmya. The first time Golu-decorating is the most special of all, in my opinion. Somehow it never fades away no matter how many years roll by.
Such a cute pair of glittering little Marapachis you have! I also enjoyed your Chettiar couple and the kitchen set.
Thank you for participating in our Navratri contest.
Wish you a happy and a prosperous Diwali.:)
