This year's Golu's was theme based, it contained the golu padis of 5 steps, a small construct depicting the origins of Karthikeya, "Saravana Poigayi", and a construct that consisted of a mini waterfall, a radha krishna on jhula and a garba dandiya couple complete with lights and a daily thali starting with vrindavan thali and so on.

Very nice Golu arrangement. It is a nice idea of pasting small chikku kolams on each step. I think if it is a continous one, it would have been a very good border decoration.
Marapaachi Raja & Rani dolls are looking very lovely. I liked that chettiyar and chetichi (big one in the second step) very much. That chettiyar's mustache and naughty look steals my heart.
Can you upload pictures of your thematic golu set-up seperately in cafe section? Thanks in advance

The Dashavtar set looks very nice. I also enjoyed your pair of Marapachi dolls. Beautifully decorated golu!
