I made this clay figurines for my first special golu this year . I tried this first time. I love clay modeling now and ll continue this work Smile

Wow...very cutely made clay model aarthy...what have u used for colouring...is it fabric paint or something else...

Thanks Uma and ammuchandhini.

Acrylic paint and varnish works well on clay.

I used air dry clay , Acrylic paint and varnish, Galvanised thin wire.

you have to make 3 parts - one round for face, body shape and small circle for base. attach everything by inserting the thin wire in the middle of head , body and base..you can glue all for extra strength.then cover the gaps with thick clay and water paste...

All done..Once it dries paint and then varnish.

Note : try to avoid the cracks in the clay by smoothing it.
