Jayanthi colorbackground would have enhanced the white flower beauty.

I like the 'thumbi' or butterfly than anything else!

Just like white carnations - so beautiful Jayanthi and like Rajamma said coloured background would have given a nicer contrast..

Sometimes, when I look at such handmade cards, I wonder how many of these would the artists be willing to send away to friends for free! Especially Jayanthiji, since she has a vast collection of her own creations. Smile
Jayanthiji, am I in your friend list yet, if not, what can I do to become one of your friends? No, not joking, this question has been in my mind for a while now. Smile

Absolutely right Lata - I remember when I was a kid once I made a card with colour pencil shavings - you know when you manage to shave the pencil without breaking the flakes it comes like a flower.. I had different colours done and made a pretty greeting card and did not have the heart to send use it for a very very long time.. Finally the card got so old that one day my mum had to throw it away.. boo hoo hoo...

A greeting card made using pencil shavings! I can imagine it Judy, I have tried getting a "perfect flower" many times in my childhood days too, but somehow couldn't manage to stick it properly in a shape that I wanted. As soon as the shaving curls got wet (due to the sticky liquid glue, because back then there was no such thing called a glue-stick), the curls would crumple apart and get smudged, and ruin any arrangement.
Your card got thrown away Judy, but your memory of the same lives on forever...thanks for sharing! Smile
