hai frnz,to be frank enough i wasnt able to do the exact design 1 of lata excepting d 1st 2 layers,, ive done d 3rd layer and d extensions in my own style,,, ur comments pls

Uma, I am searching for the original design here. Anyhow you have done an altogether beautiful design . In the dark background your new design in white and red kaavi is glittering. are the pearl like white dots done in PC?

Very interesting design with shades of old and new. Any way, it is indeed beautiful. The outer decorations are very nice. By the way, how much time did you take to complete the pattern?

Though slightly deviated from the original design your outcome is so fantastic Uma....you have done a very neat job and I also liked the extensions. Overall symmetry is maintained dear...your dots makes the kolam glow in the dark background.

Uma, I've been enjoying all of your white and brown (kaavi) designs that you've made lately. This design although different from the ones given for reference, has turned out very beautiful. I can see that you've taken extra care to do some post work on your original design, by adding dots. The swirly concentric circles look wonderful with this design. now coming up to d story behind d kolam,,,,,,,i wasnt able to draw d original; one even after few practice,,, all of a sudden we planned a holiday to madurai for 2 days,,, since i was d one to start this inspiration topic i felt a bit guilt to run without submitting,,, so whatever be d result i planned to do one,,, thunijavanukku thookumaedaiyum panju methai ha ha ha
this kolam was made in a hurry at eve 6 30,.due to some riots in paramakudi raja wanted to drive early to madurai and watched me strange doing a kolam instead of packing to my moms place,,,, did some pc dots,, uploaded as a very sincere student and enjoyed my golu shopping in madurai
