About Advanced Kambi Kolams - Chikku Kolam of the week : PRINT
After a long time I decided to do some intricate kolams for the advanced level of kolam lovers. My most favourite type of kolam is the 'Kambi Kolam' or 'Chikku Kolam' and as Rajamma once commented, these type of kolams are very good to help increase your concentration power... The dot count is indicated in the kolam itself...

Thank you Lata for saying 'Our Kolam of the week" I feel very elated...
Purni and Asha - the colour touch is done specially for learners to identify the different sections so as to learn the kolam easily (as Rajamma has mentioned above)that's the basic idea.
I used to find it difficult to sort out the sections in some very difficult chikku kolams sometimes, so I am making it earlier to others, especially for the younger generation to grasp as when they see the confusing lines itself they shun drawing kolams - Rajamma remember we discussed this at the Chennai Meet - how to entice the younger generation so that the tradition is carried on - hope I am doing my bit well...

Jayanthiji, one would have to wait only if they had submissions in the queue that have not been uploaded yet. I've been uploading yours on a daily basis, and they keep coming! Sort of like Amudha surabhi!
I see that there are a few more, so may be you could start uploading from Monday?
