Dear Sravanthi,
I missed one of your comment and query to my "Varusha Pirappu" kolam. 'Maakolam' means it is drawn with wet rice paste. Mostly maakolam is done for making traditional kolams (for marraiges, festivals etc.) Hope i answered your query.
