This is a chain made with chalk piece. My daughter did this a couple of years back. She carved out this chain from a chalk piece. The length of the chain was the length of a chalk piece. Since it is very fragile, whatever I could save from that, I have kept it inside a box.

That's some fine carving! This is the first time I'm coming across something carved out of a chalk-piece. Very nice!
It was thoughtful of you to save this chain in a watch box too, looks like it was made for it!
Would your daughter like this file to be saved in her own folder (in her name)? If so, please let me know. Also, pass on our thanks to your daughter, this would certainly give other kids some neat ideas

Yes Jayanthi, I remember the vacation when Ramya used to sit and do this minute carving when we all played cards or scrabble! It's nice of you to preserve it!
