Unbelievable! Stencils for dotted kolams too! Let me make sure I understand this right, do we have to place the dots after using/filling through the stencil, or are the holes already punched in the stencil, and all we have to do is spread the powder on top?
The stencil contains evrything, including the lines and dotes. The unwanted areas of the design is covered with a blue colour undissolving paint. For ex. the areas which are seen as black here . You have to just spread the powder on top of the design. Thats all. There are dotted kolam designs, X'mas theme designs etc etc.
Jayanthi, nice, modern, easy way of putting kolam in front of the house in few seconds,But nowadays youngsters have time only to adjust their cellphone in the ears rather than drawing a few lines in front of their houses.
Even though I welcome these stencil kolams it reminds me of MTR readymade food pockets... what do u d say?
WOW!!!! jayanthiji.... good idea.... Rajammaji yes ur right MTR ready made food ...... good good... pavan also tryed some water rangolis using same Stencils....
