About chikku kOlam - 5 - kunDalinI nAgabandha : PRINT

kunDalinI nAgabandha is a chikku kOlam! Here is one I made with a string.
If you cut at any point and draw a head and tail, it becomes a nAga.
The one I am showing is a closed one. One can give more twists or eliminate
some to get newer patterns. Also this can be cut at two (four) opposite points
to give rise to two (four) snakes.

Interesting mOhanaji! I just had to dig out my nagas! Here they are:

I would also like to try out my version of 4 nagas (so hard to stop once you start), but I guess that has to wait for a few more days. Smile
I now have to direct my attention to Diya (who has been bugging me about some last minute play-accessories), and her rehearsal (for tomorrow's class annual play)

Will catch up with naga comments from all our friends after a couple of days Smile

Great. Kolam kooda pottudalaam, arranging thread in an intertwining way and fixing them is really a task, which needs patience. Hats off to you!

At last I am able to find an architectural pattern on stone in a temple for the string rangOli I presented here. This seems to be somewhere in karNATaka. This pattern is a mirror image of the one I made. The url is
