Awesome kolam in kavi padma...i had just done d bigger version of d same kolam as a margazhi kolam....d outer border is very lovely...and ur handwriting ...too nice...

@Vinci - yes kavi is missing in one of the border flower. I realised after uploading this. This is the same kavi what I use in all my kolams.

Nice kolam with kavi. The four corners look like four Gopurams.
Though I cannot read what you have written (is it Kannada?), your handwriting is like print and cute.

Wow Padma, this is so good looking especially with the lovely kaavi. I like the deep maroon kaavi a lot. Nowadays Rani mam doesnt use it so often, and ur fulfilling my thirst for the kaavi. Thanks for that.

@Pushpa, You can get that kavi powder (ready to use) in Bangalore- may be Gandhi Bazar and in malleshwaram area too.

Thats in kannada Language and says "SANKRANTHI WISHES"

Very cute chikku kolam Padma and you have decorated it to look like a padi kolam.
