wow superb rani mam. aaaha unga kolam kavithayum solla vaikutheeeeee.. subhashini mam "nalla oru tamil kavithai" ungal tamil pualamaiku en vanakkangal...
Beautiful kolam RAni. The flowers drawn taking one dot from the regular design is very intellegent. You would have used some stencils in the four corners to fill the empty place. Now a days I can easily makeout from the thumbnail that it is RAni's. And always wait for the visual treat from you. How do you get so many ideas and so much of time.
Wooooow Rani mam, this is so splendid dear. Looks very neat, beautiful, and attractive. Hmm ya in the four sides u cud have used ur wonderful peacock stencil or other stencils. Suba beautiful poem dear, u rightly expressed what goes in my mind when i see Rani mam's kolam.
Its a very superb creation. All your sikku kolams are huge ones and very attractive. This fusion of sikku and joined dots is really very beautiful. How do you find so much time. Do your put the kolams in the night or in the early morning.
rani ur traffic signal kolam (green?)looks neat dear, since no green signal is there we may all wait and admire d beauty and create a traffic jam , he he he laksh whr r u?
Thanks a lot suguna, rajamma mam, suba(aah today also...i am blessed..), thank u vasanthi, padma(most of my sikku kolams r from tamil magazines dear...i just reproduce them on floor ..thats it...), thank u pushpa, vinci, pragaya, kameswari mam, jayashubha mam(but for my margazhi kolams i do all my big kolams in d evenings...although i do a kutty daily kolam in d mornings too), thank u uma, priya, rekha mam and chandy ...thank u all once again from d bottom of my heart....
Very beautiful and colourful kolam! I am reminded of exhaust fans, Ms.Rani - your exhaust fans are brightly coloured and have a very pretty chikku frame to protect the blades (just joking)! Thank you for today's treat. Hope to regularly see such beauties even after Marghazhi...

Hi, I am a new member of this wonderful world of skills, imagination and beauty. Like the rest of you I too am a fan of the fabulous kolams that are featured here. Having said that, may I humbly ask if there is any technique of getting it just right?? I just can't seem to get such clean lines especially around the dots etc. If any body could offer a kindly word of advice, it would a lot to me.
Thank you all for reading this.
