This rangoli was painted by Keerti and her kids using poster colors. It has a dot grid of 12x12 - straight dots. It represents everything about Sankranti - kites, laddus (sweets), pongal pots, sugarcanes & the Sun in the center.

Hi Keerthi,
You've incorporated all the necessary elements of Sankranthi in your rangoli. That's very creative and it looks very beautiful. I wanted to let you know that your rangoli is one of a kind...you've incorporated both the north-indian symbols of celebration (kites and ladoos) and the south-indian elements (pongal pots and sugarcanes). Very nice design representing this celebration from a global point of view!
