this rangoli is made from dust powder which is mixed with dyes. This is drawn by my friend ANANTHALAKSHMI in her home. it is five headed serpant. only limited colours are used in this.mainly yellow and green.
Hi friends this is drawn by Bharathi and myself for Mahashivaratri festival..12/02/10.

Meaning:I bow down to the Lord of Uma (Parvathi), the divine Guru, the cause of the universe. I bow down to the Lord who is adorned with snake and wears tiger skin, the Lord of all creatures. I bow down to the Lord whose three eyes are the sun, moon and fire and to whom Lord Vishu is near. I bow down to the Lord who is the refuge of all devotees and the giver of boons, Shiva Shanakara.
"MAY THE BLESSINGS OF LORD SHIVA ALWAYS BE WITH ALL OF US"
your viws and suggestions please...
this is a very simple shiv ling with snake as his umbrella design... hope u all like it.
I've created this design in Telugu. In this I have shown the original bandha as well as two designs I got using that. This is an example where three disciplines meet - art, science and literature.
