Atlast I could make this weekend.
Here comes Indianised ships, with fishes, turtles & pearl oyster :). Asusual drawn on paper, scanned & colored in photoshop.
The ships are inspired from one of the rural arts of India.
Dot count 33 X 17 (hexagonal grid), extend the corners as needed for the masts/ sails.
Hope to catch you all soon

This is 15 - 8 (intermediate)dots kolam. Got this design from my collection (thru website). Have some changes to the original kolam by adding an anchor for each ship. Please let me know your views my dear friends.

Here is my submission of cruise .I draw myself the creatures as usual on photo shop. The dot grid for the base of ship is 13 to 17.interlaced dots. Then add dots as per the design, and your desire.I dedicate this ship to O.U.c., one of our great national leader.
This is ship on sea done in powder colurs in the year 1996. I did this in a competetion held in our office on the occassion of Sports Club Annaul day celebrations.
It took three hours to complete. As my friend Kameswari posted one of may recent Rangolis I wanted to share with you one of my rangoli collections.
Now I doubt I may not redo it again.
