Hello to all my friends of ikolam. I am Mrs.Seethalakshmi Suresh & I have been surfing this site for more than a year, but i have not uploaded any kolams yet. I love to draw kolams but I am a bit afraid to upload for the reason that most of the members in ikolam are experts in drawing rangolis and probably my rangolis may not match the expert's standard..Most of the rangolis which I draw are taken from ikolam with a small changes here and there..
With this I am uploading my first kolam.. Awaiting for all your views on the same
Hi,
This is my first upload. Tried this maa kolam on Friday (I need to improve a lot on my strokes, but still uploading). Seek your views and suggestions for improvement. Mine is an amateur attempt - I am logged on to the iKolam site for atleast 2-3 hours a day and am putting in my best to improvise. Your feedback will help me a great deal ....
Hai to all friends...1st sunday of August is celebrated as Friendship day....I am conveying my heartfelt thanks to Lata and Ikolam for giving me lots of lovely friends through this 21x21 dotted kolam...Hope u like this...
This is a dotted kolam with dot count 9-9 straight dots. Inspired by Sudha's nagakolams, I tried this.
One more Nagara kolam with only one serpant twisted itself to make a circular loop. Waiting for your views.....
This I tried after viewing the image in nagabandha of Kumbakonam, posted by JKM sir. As per his wish I have tried this on floor.
Once the pooja is over the five faces of the lamp is brought together and the light is put off and again lit. Now the vilakku is just a normal vilakku. I normally keep this lamp lit the whole night and put off the next morning. Then prasadam is served to the guests.
May Goddess Bhagavathy shower her blessings on all the people all over the world.
I hope I have not bored you all with my descriptions. My apologies if any content is wrong.
It is really a pleasure to watch the deeparadhana during poojas
