Though a lotus flower in spirituality symbolises purity, beauty, fertility and peace, it also symbolises wisdom and knowledge(Gyaan).........hence thought of putting a lotus flower kolam on "Gayatri Japam" day
This was done by me for Avani Avittam, It was drizzling on and off, so could not make a bigger and neat one

Hi Friends, This is the kolam that i made for Avani Avittam. It was not fully dried. Many of you would have seen this design before as I have taken it from Mangaiyar Malar. Hope I could have done it still more better.
