Mani took this picture from one of bakeries located in San Francisco, a few months ago. This is sourdough bread in the making. It happens to be a San Francisco speciality! Pictures have been waiting in my folder ever since, I think Jayanthiji's murukku has got me excited enough to share this edible art with you.
