Hi Friends,
Merry Chritmas to all.
I am uploading this into the craft section. This is made in a plastic canvas.wool is used at medium. cross stitch is adopted.

This is as usual my E.Kolam.
As usual plastic canvas. Made this design with woollen.
Just I want to share this with you all because the finishing looks like a kolam.
This is the one I placed in the centre of the Arathi thattu.

Rangoli: Woollen Rangoli

1. Cut the colour woollen thread into small pieces.
2. Then grind it in kitchen mixie (if you cut it into large piece, then your mixie will be under repair). It will become a cotton.
3. Draw any design in chart paper.
4. Now paste cotton (woollen)in the chart paper, according to that design.

1.Cut the woollen into small pieces
2.Grind it in the mixie
3.Apply the Fevicol in the required design
4.Paste it (woollen pieces) on the design
5.Use the Colour powder(large size) to fill the gap.

My mother taught to do the basic woollen design. It is done on a netted cloth with cross stich and finally cut in the centre. After finishing the wollen work I took a velvet cloth and stiched the purse also myself. Please give your views.

This was done using "Crochet" needle. I did this 10 years back.
Took a pic now and sharing it across.
