Your first 'scented' chikku kolam?? I don't believe it!! Looks too good for a first attempt. Extremely neat work and beautiful symmetry. I am sure the whole place would have had a wonderful smell for a long time Smile

It doesn't look like your first attempt! You seem to have mastered the art of chikku kolam!

Excellent start for the sikku kolam. I agree with the others. It looks as if it is drawn from an experienced hand. Thank you and good luck.

This is a lovely kOlam! I like it. The colour too is catchy Smile By the way, pardon my ignorance, what is santAnam powder? I know what santAnam is and what powder is, but not what the combination means.

Sandhanam powder is sandalwood powder. You get sandalwood powder balls available in stores. We just have to mix a ball with some water, in order to get the paste, for our use (this is what we use for Chandan-kumkum bindis for the god's pictures/shrines etc)

Very nice work! Thanks for sharing your fragrant artwork with all of us.
