Once the pooja is over the five faces of the lamp is brought together and the light is put off and again lit. Now the vilakku is just a normal vilakku. I normally keep this lamp lit the whole night and put off the next morning. Then prasadam is served to the guests. May Goddess Bhagavathy shower her blessings on all the people all over the world.
