Hi Friends, Wish u all a very happy new year and Vishu. This is the padi kolam that i made for New year. I was in a sleepy mood when i made this kolam. Moreover my hands were paining severely. So i didn't come out symmetrically. The four corners are of four different shapes. Still let me know ur views.

beautiful,neat,traditional kolam. "maakolam" means ? i am from Andhara so please help me understand this word.
is it done with rice flour ?
