About Tricolour Terrece kolam : PRINT
Very rarely I use my terrece for kolam, though spacious ,wind does not allow me to put podikkolam. Due to the slop it is little difficult to put wet maavu kolam also. But today I tried this kolam and colored it with green and orange to suit Republic day.
wet rise maavu with food liguid colours are used .

Congrats rajamma mam on ur rod....awesome maakolam in tricol....wanted to try ur this very same maakolam done already by u...but i couldn't get d lines/curves properly at all...
...but hats off to u for such a perfect second presentation for us... :bigsmile: ...am not going to let this go...somehow will try and share with u... J)

Thank you all for enjoying this kolam and commenting.Personaly I feel it is not that good to get a pat with the "ROD". ( may be it was given the honour to encourage an old paatti still wanting to put big kolams.May be I also need the encouragement to continue drawing)
One thing, I agree it is a nice design and suitable for maakkolam. This can be extended outside also.
Yes Rani, this is in my gallery, drawn on a table top with the same color combination. You can try this with colour podi and with your thick ezhai it will look more beautiful

Beautiful mam...! Using food colours in maavu kolam is new to me. I am learning more new ideas in drawing kolam from you mam...! Thank you mam and thanks to ikolam...!
