About The one that didn't make it ;-) : PRINT

I created this also to go along with my new year card (MMXIII). Unfortunately, this didn't make the cut. Yet I like this (as it is my child Smile ). So here it is. Hidden in this pattern are two English words to be found out. Please set them free Smile Regards! - mOhana

I think I see Y around diyas (which could be "O"). The "U" might be the base of the blue lotuses? Is "you" the other word?

jkmrao's picture

You're on the right track about "y". Please see whether the color can be helpful. Regards! - mOhana

Is the other word, 'Joy'?

jkmrao's picture

Yes, the other word is JOY. The J when rotated by 90 deg becomes Y and in between is O which is shared by LOVE too. The whole picture is symbolic. The home-like structure is filled with LOVE and JOY through day (the sun-like pattern) and night (the blue lotus) bathed in splendid light (lamp). Congratulations to Ms latA and Ms Shibrudha.

May the homes of all people be filled with
light, love and joy
every moment
during the long days and peaceful nights!

Regards! - mOhana
