Today is my lucky day! So many good rangOlis including this one. Simply eye-catching! The wooden floor is not bringing out the contrast for the intricate design made with the dark colour that almost resembles it.

beTTada tAvare is called sthalapadma in Bengali and thalkamal in Hindi. It is called Hibiscus mutabilis. In the morning it is white and changes colour to pink in the evening, it seems. One can see it here http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Hmutab-02.jpg
