About Seven-up kolam : PRINT

This design is drawn with 7-7 straight dots. You can guess with what materiels it is colored and fenced.(My grand son named it Sevenup kolam after I colored the blue portion... may be it looked like 7.)

Very palich and trendy kolam rajamma mam...i too think it is coloured coconut scrapings....also am surprised to see u use black col...coz i remember u saying u don't like to use black col for rangolies...

I call it 8 kolam as pairs of triangles arelinked to make the shape of 8! The material is either rice powder or salt!

rajammaji, superbbbb work, the material used I guess is salt(?), and Rani mam it is not black colour, I think it is dark purple colour.

either scrapped coconut coloured or sea salt coloured or smashed petals of coloured flowers and leaf?pl.pl.let us know the answer maamm

Wow, beautiful colouring and excellent. The fillings are coconut scarping and the borders are done with pista shell. Iam i right

It is coconut scrappings with liquid food color mixed to it. And ofcourse pista shells.
It is fun using different materiels other than normal kolam powder.

Rani, the black one is the blue berry color only. When dried it became like this.
